Our fresh products are caught/harvested shortly before being delivered to you. Great care is taken in the transport and distribution to ensure that you receive the freshest and most delicious seafood.

Live West Coast Mussels (Large)
These mussels are grown in the fertile waters of Saldahna Bay. They are harvested on Thursday, put on ice but not frozen. They are shipped overnight by refrigerated transport to our depot. As these mussels are live, they are far tastier than the frozen New Zealand Green Lip mussel. They are ideally steamed, boiled, braaied or used in soups or seafood potjies. They can be kept in the fridge for 2 days and can be frozen. Minimum order 1kg.

Live Eastern Cape Oysters (Medium)
Our Eastern Cape Oysters are harvested on Thursday and kept in sea water until Friday morning. They are then put on ice and delivered directly to you. They can be kept in the fridge for up to 4 days. Minimum order of 10 oysters.

Trout
Trout has a soft pink flesh that is full-flavoured, with a firm yet creamy texture and moderate to high fat content. Trout can be baked, pan-fried, poached, steamed, broiled, or grilled. All our trout can be frozen.

Norwegian Salmon
Salmon is pink to orange in colour, with a rich flavour. Salmon is an excellent source of protein, vitamin A, B vitamins, and Omega-3 oils. Fresh salmon can be eaten raw, but is also delicious when grilled, broiled, poached, smoked, baked, roasted, and sautéed. All our salmon products can be frozen.

Hake
Our hake is caught off our coastline and put straight on ice. Generally our fillet sizes are about 200g – 300g, but this cannot be guaranteed as there is always some unpredictability. Hake has a flaky white flesh and is known for its mild flavor. It is a versatile fish which is great for pan frying, deep frying in batter, grilling and fish bakes. The fillets will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 2 days, but as they are fresh they can be frozen. Minimum order 600g.

Gurnard
Gurnard is a relatively small fish with a reddish pink skin and succulent medium-textured flesh. It can be baked, poached, or fried and is also delicious in stews, curries or soups.The fillets will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 2 days, but as they are fresh they can be frozen. Minimum order 600g.
